Nice to hear from you, A_C. Actually I have a vertical crack running up the tibia from the ankle, so maybe even have that in common as well. How did you break your leg?

I started walking this week with one crutch, which hurts somewhat but apparently is good for the leg--I hope. Swelling remains the big hurdle...if the leg is down for long it swells badly. Thank heavens I can work from home.

We're heading out East next week. It will be the first time in the mountains in NH without hiking in my memory. Still it will be nice to smell the mountain air, and drink the local brews!
