well, Im mid way into week 7, or is it week 8??? I have had my first PT session, and really enjoyed it. Its another step closer to being back to the old self. I had my cast removed on friday 8th Feb, and they said "off you go" FWB but with the aid of crutches for balance. By the time I had got home, I had ditched the crutches.and was cruising round the house, with a big smile on my face. I have to say, I did kinda miss my cast a little, my poor (now little) leg felt very vunrable and scared being back in the big wide world. My leg was now sporting a huge fur coat, so as soon as my mum had dropped me off, the bath was running. 3 razors later, I had a smooth leg, ish....(dont read on if your eating) I had so much dead skin on the surface, and silly me, scrubbed the leg with a scourer, now, i am brandishing a beautiful red scar down the front. The skin on my foot came away like soap that has been sitting in warm water, soft! how grose. I think the other BLers have kept this from us! and how ever much mouisturiser i use, even pure cocoabutter, its still dry, and the hair grows back faster, stubble after 2 days, whilst the other leg is still amost smooth.
