The surgery started at 4.30 PM 22nd Feb2008, and it went for 2 hours. A titanium plate with 6 locking screws hold my tibia. Post operation I was under epidural analgesia. After 2 days I was feeling severe pain. After 2 days of my op the PT in the hospital put me to walk with walker with NWB. 30th January I was discharged from the hospital. The OS asked me to come to hospital on 3rd February to remove the stiches.

I feel better in home than in hospital. But lot of sleepless nights because of pain in my BL. Also gas trouble also affected me due to immobilization.

On 3rd Feb I went to hospital to remove the stiches. After removing the stiches my BL looks so ugly. The OS told me to come for the checkup on 23rd February and ask me to do excercises under a PT.

I arranged a PT, whom came regulary to my home daily morning 9.00 AM. I felt a lot of stiffness on the earlier days. My family really helped me a lot during that toughest period in my life.
