I know what you mean. Kids and all were gung ho the first3-4 weeks, now they seem to be wishing I would get up and get busy. I am fortunate, the only stairs are the 3 going out the front door, that has been the biggest hurdle. there is no railing so I have dh and my ds on either side and hop down. DH has had a lot of stress at work lately so is also overwhelmed. And housework has never been his strong suit. The splints I had on went to the bend of the knee but the cast goes to about 3 in below the knee. The tibia broke at the very bottom, just one side where the bone comes down to hold the ankle in place, It broke off and was over an inch or so from where it was supposed to be so surgery was unavoidable. I was hoping it was just the fib and could be in just a cast but not the case. how much longer will you be in the cast?
