I've had my horse 11 yrs. since I retired from teaching. I was out on the local nature reserve alone. Can't remember anything about how it happened, but think he put his foot in a hole and stumbled badly, I came off and got knocked out and then he fell on my leg.Broke tib and fib. Hospital decided, finally, not to pin it. Been in long plaster and now short weight bearing one, which is coming off next wk. Did you realise I am in England? No need for health insurance here (unless you want special care) I am getting good care in our local hospital, and physio as well, all free.
What would happen if you didn't have insurance?
