Missy-
I just joined your club a month ago. It looks like you had a question about the fibula, which is the small bone on the outside of your lower leg. There are some sites that have x-rays where you can see this bone. Malleolus means "hammer" so it is the wide area at the end of a bone that meets another bone (like on a "dog bone") Oblique means slanted. I hope I didn;t give more info than you needed. I just got my cast off after 4 weeks. I have 6 screws and a plate, but only on one ankle. I am home from work today, but since I have a rather sedentary job teaching nursing, I go and wheelchair around the place.
Good luck, and e-mail if you want; I would be glad tohear from you.
