I had a 85 year old lady pull right out in front of me.I was doing 35 mph, with no time to think. totaled my 74 superglide, and broke my tibia real bad. this was in june. i've had 7 different surgerys, and still in a fixater till end of the month. then i go to a cast. ye ha. maybe i can finally get off my back to sleep.i ended up with compartment syndrome, bone and skin grafts. i've never had a broken bone or been laid up in my life. so i get to experience all at one time.i sure liked rideing my bike, but never again. I'm 42 and feel like i have been put thru the ringer. i have found out how easy it is to take things for granite, like walking. things you never think about till it hits home. everyone tells me how lucky i was,its just hard to see it sometimes. i hope your recovery goes well, and keep your chin up (so will i ).
