Please do not feel obligated to answer these questions. It's just that after reading the stories of the others, I have some questions that if you could answer, I would be interested. I just want your opinions. Thank you in advance.

1: I wonder why some of us get a cast and others do not. I do not think that I will ever get a cast and yet some of you (like Bryan) with the same breaks....get a cast.

2: Do most of you folks plan on geting your hardware removed? My doc told me that unless it was a problem, my rod and screws were in for life.

3: Have any of you ever had a strange, blister like pain on the very bottom of your heel at night when you try to sleep?

4: Do any of you wake up at about 3:30 am in great pain every night? I always do and am having a very hard time sleeping.

5: How long was it for you before you stopped taking pain pills? I do not want to get addicted to Vicodin. But...yesterday, I tried to go all day without any...big mistake! I had to play catch up and it was no fun.
