It took me about 8 weeks of torture from PT to get 100% ROM. BUT once I got it my walking improved tremendously and it was only a few days more of PT before I "graduated". That was the hardest part because if you don't have the right ROM - YOU CAN'T WALK without crutches. At least that was my experience. My accident was 5-26-05 (compound fracture of tibia/fibula with hardware). I still have good days and bad days but I am doing really good. I was off work for 10 weeks.
