Finally the fracture blisters have healed, and their scabs have flaked off from my scar. The steristrips have fallen off, and all that's left is a very smooth pinkish purple scar.

I've been massaging the scar/scab/blister area 3 times daily with Mederma, and it is having a great effect on the scar healing! I can't recommend this stuff enough. It's a little pricey, but very worth it.

My mother is coming to visit next week from Minnesota, it will be the first time she's seen me since the accident, and I am thankful that it's not so ugly anymore.
