Sorry to hear about your accident :-( My husband used to paraglide for about 8 years and I did a few tandems ... but spent a lot of those 8 years hanging around launch sites!!
I must say I'm surprised at the no-wind launch... hope everything goes OK with both your leg and your claims, and we are here to vent :-)
