Sherri - I am sorry to hear about your injury and so grateful that it wasn't worse. I am a single mother to a 5 year old girl and this is my second broken leg since she has been born. She is older this time and a big help to me, but it has put a damper on our activities and I am getting discouraged. I broke my leg this year on my birthday (April 2nd) while on my dirt bike and I have not had any signs of calcification at the break site yet. Same as you timewise, but I just broke my fibula near my ankle. If it doesn't start healing I will be referred out to an OS, with surgery a possibility, and I am not ready to hear that yet, so I am also praying for healing. Thinking back on my other broken leg (also a distal fib fx) there were also no signs of calcification at this time either. Tomorrow I am going to call for medical records to see how I healed. I didn't journal then and wish I had.

I can only offer empathy and let you know that you are not alone.

Speedy healing and many rays,
Katie
