12/26.... That was the day.... I had my last cigarette on The way to the hospital. For some reason it hurt my ankle more to smoke and I only had about 2 puffs before throwing it out. At that moment I didn't know it would be my last...even though it was my goal for the new year... But I didn't think I was quite ready to say goodbye to my old friend. Well I guess staying in the hospital 4 days is a pretty good start. Now, my friends tell me that I own this success, it's mine, I did it... And yes I suppose thats true, but it sure doesn't hurt to be unable to walk or drive when your quitting. So today is day 26 of my ankle healing, and my lungs healing.... Yay for the amazing body!
