so after 5 weeks of sitting in a chair, i can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel! I got my cast off today, and doc says i can bear weight as tolerated. Thank you lord - he expects i will be walking by the end of feb! which means i can be driving my the end of feb! I can not wait to get my life back! Vegas in a few days (renting a scooter, not pushing myself too fast) going back to work after that! Even though my job is so frustrating at times, I do miss being in the thick of it! Anyhow doc says the healing looks good. I am just so happy that i have a OS that does not believe it dwaddling about in the recovery process, I think i would die if i had to keep sitting in this chair!!
