Hi everyone. This is Henry. On 5/1/12, I had my first break. Here is how the story goes.

It was friend's birthday. Ethan was his name. He invited a bunch of us to go out to play some soccer. None of us really played soccer. We just did it for fun when it was nice out. That day, however, it had rain early on. The grass was still wet but we thought it was dry enough to play. Now, we didn't play much soccer so none of us actually had cleats (except this girl named, Samuel, who stepped on everyone with them). You could probably surmise how I got my break...

All of my "friends" trapped me in my circle and pummeled me....No, I slipped on the grass. Sucks, but it's true.

As I chased the soccer ball for a goal, I switched gears for a bad pass and the rest was history. I planted my left foot on the grass as I felt the rest of my body keep flying to the right. I proceeded to hear a series of crunches and pops and before I knew it, my side of my body was on the grass and I was holding my leg in the soccer acting 101 position. I yelled for help. My friends saw my foot and instantly called 911. The girl's soccer team, warming up nearby, witnessed all of this, by the way. A couple of friends on the teams ran over. Everyone proceeded to give me a pep talk while I laid there in semi-agony. The adrenaline was pumping through my body, numbing the pain I would feel full force later.

The first responders were from the nearby firehouse. They put a wooden splint on my leg and wrapped it while every little bump they made resembled a mini stab in my ankle. This was while another fireman was failing to obtain my pulse. Soon, the EMT's came and put me on a gurney and soon I was at Middlesex Hospital. They put me in ExpressCare and gave me morphine. It didn't do much but make me warm and sleepy. My friends and my girlfriend came to visit.
