Last night I was picking up a stack of folded clothes and heard a noise like a twig snapping and then pain in my left index finger. The same finger that I fractured last July 4th due to enchrondromas. So hubs took me to the ER this morning and they took an x-ray. There is no obvious fracture line and they suspect I pulled a tendon so I have this half fingered splint on right now. I am to call my PCM in 2 days for an appt. LOL--doesn't it figure that I found out earlier this week that my PCM is gone and I won't get a new one until Aug or Sept?!!!! So, Monday I'll have to see if another Dr can see me or give me a referral back to my hand surgeon. It's back to peck typing for now- Arggggggggggggg!!!
