Interesting bK. I know how much the support on here gets me through. When I got the osteoporosis diagnosis last Oct I sent off for all the bumph and found out that there are lots of support groups and meetings all over London. It is only now I am in a position where I could actually get to one. On the one hand I know it could be an excellent way to share, pick up tips and learn about research but on the other, I can't really work out whether I'm going to be picked up spiritually by sitting with other oldies getting their hourly dosage from their morphine patches!!!! I suppose it COULD get quite jolly - especially if the vino destructo makes an appearance, lol.
I may give it a whirl, nothing ventured etc. Watch this space.
