I am a newbie. Had my 2 syndesmosis screws removed today. I was more nervous this time round too but it was pretty much the same as my first op. Fell asleep, then what seemed like a few minutes later, woke up in recovery.
With my family I'm glad to get some sleep. Its the best sleep I have these days! (joking)
You've done things opposite to me. You are up and walking while I have just been told I can start FWB. Sadly I have no physio to help me so I'm doing it alone and my foot and ankle are so weak and stiff. My big toe is stuck and doesn't move much, but anyway once these metal clips are out I plan to look on youtube to see what I need to be doing to get back on my feet.
Happy New Year to you and I hope to get to where you are soon.
