I agree, the knee scooter is a life saver, for me. Oh course there is an adjustment period. My endurance has increased a ton. At first I could barely get more than an item or two @ target, now I can go & linger as long as I want.
The hardest part is that random piece of gravel which stops your wheel ;( also I bang my good ankle a lot ;(
