Finally got in touch with my OS's assistant. She's getting a prescription called into the clinic for my ex-husband to pick up and get filled. It's a short acting version of something called Nucynta. Anyone have any experience with this pain med? If so, does it work well? They said they would call in the strongest one but I will have to adjust my Xanax and Klonopin (adrenal disorder meds). Problem: that doctor's office doesn't open until 1:00pm on Wednesdays. Should I just skip my regular meds and take the new Nucynta pain med until I can get hold of them. I don't think I can hold on much longer with this pain. Can't believe how much there is.
Bi-Mal fx 2007-Never healed. New OS/Surgery 8/6/2012-Cancaneal Osteotomy 2 screws heel, HDL tendon transfer, Achilles Lengthening, Spring Ligament repair-HWR Tib/Fib-Large splint w/cooling pads. 8/14-8/24 2012 had 3 casts-8/28 air boot. 9-18-12: PWB.
