My OS says everything stays! The tightrope is supposed to disintegrate after time. but the OS says, "No." to plate removal. We'll see, I'm only 12 weeks in so this is not a decision we need to make right now. I don't feel anything as yet, it is still fairly numb in that area of my leg, with flashes of feeling.
