 what's the difference?
SMM    3:20pm Jul 23 2012

Hi Everyone,

So strange to say this...I'm having what I hope are just OA aches, but after a visit to a clinic, can't rule out something else (possibly tendinitis)...right now resting, but other treatment hasn't been ruled out...and something mentioned about 'appropriate immobilization' actually just made me think. I don't know if this is a dumb question, but I always thought a cast was, well, a cast. Does the material mean something different?? Does what makes up a cast determine/impact how and what healing properties are involved. I'd never thought of this---all I've ever had was plaster.

Best wishes,
Matt
