I had three ankle fractures causing damage to tib/fib in April 2011.
Had surgery with 2 plates and 9 screws. Its been 15 months, and the doctor now suggests that the hardware needs to be removed as I suffer from Inflammation.
I would like to know from friends here about the recovery time after removal of hardware from ankle.
