Ever since I got my surgical cast off I have tried the icing with elevation. I place a folded towel between my ankle and the ice bag and after about ten minutes I can tell you exactly where my hw is. It gets freezing cold and is thereby painful! So, now I just elevate and take ibuprofen for pain. Has anyone else had this happen?

4/12/12 feel 3 steps dis. fx L ankle tib/fib closed reduction
4/18 ORIF surgery plates and screws
5/2 stitches out, boot, nwb
6/15 pwb 50%
7/13 cleared for fwb in 1 wk. boot 3/4 more weeks
