Funny that you have to look at the hospital notes! I had to do look over my FMLA paperwork to really figure out what they did to my ankle :-) I think a Weber C fracture has to do with some ligaments being messed up along with the two bones (bimalleolar). I broke my fibula (cracked at the very bottom of the fibula) and tibia. I did have some ligament damage but not enough to need a syndesmosis screw. Have you read the FAQ on this website? It was very helpful!!
2/17 bimalleolar ankle fracture (fib/tib) not displaced
2/29 ORIF (2 plates and 7 screws) - soft cast for 2 weeks
3/15 removable boot NWB
4/12 WBAT - in boot
5/14 walking unaided
6/28 - Fibula plate removal
