I was on Clexane for 2 weeks post-op. I had to give myself injections everyday. I guess they thought I was at higher risk of clots for some reason. You'd definitely be told if they wanted you on something like that. The nurse had to give me lessons on how to do it!
Apr 2012: Displ bimal fx,syndo injury,high fib fx,ORIF
Chronic syndo injury post screw removal in Jun
Sept: ORIF, debridement
Feb 2013: arthroscopy & screw removal, syndo "rock solid" woohoo!!
