Three years ago today, I sat on my couch and thought "should I sit here all morning and watch Wimbledon? Or should I go on a hike?" I chose... poorly.
Broken ankle, 2 surgeries, isolated on my couch, cankles, physical therapy. All the stuff you all are going through.
I'm feeling nostalgic and visiting MBL today to say (1) there is a light at the end of the tunnel - I celebrated today's anniversary by running 5 miles. (2) Looking back, it was a really hard depressing experience (3) most importantly, to thank the MBL community, for the advice, the insights, and knowing that there was a whole army of folks isolated on their couches.
Good luck to all of you on your journeys to wellness, and come back and visit on your anniversaries!
