Trista, try crossing your legs when in the wheel chair - bad leg on top of course. Someone loaned me a chair without the leg supoort thingie and I have found this to be the answer if you are where you can't prop it up otherwise. You can even straighten your bl out. I even went to the mall with my leg propped on my other leg, just watch for anyone who might run into it. I know it is not good to have your legs crossed for real long periods of time because of circulation but I promise this will give you some more freedom.

Also, get someone to pick up one of those little canvas stools that fold up. They are lite weight and can be toted anywhere. Walmart may having, if not try a sporting goods store - course you may have to be partial to camo!
