If it helps at all, post surgery I hardly had any swelling, I have a picture at day5 after my 2 surgeries of my leg... and apart from a faint grey/green and the long surgical dressing it looks pretty normal.

Keep that leg elevated when you can and hopefully you will be ok and not have too much swelling.

11 Jul and 13 Jul '11 2 ops - ORIF (plate/10 screws), debridement and washout
9 Aug 11 50% wb, 23 Aug 11 100% WBAT. Air cast boot.
10 April 2012 - fx partly united
10 Jul 12 - healed!
HWR May 13 hopefully
