Thanks, Maree! It's a fall trip for Sept and Oct.
I did some cycling last summer and fall on flat trails, but had some healing to do yet before I could take on road riding. Just last month, I began road riding. Cars passing me again. I thought that I'd be scared of my first 30 mph hill, but not at all. I was laughing the whole way downhill. I won. That hit and run driver lost because I have survived and am back on the road.
12 Oct 2010: hit by car, multiple fractures tibia, fibula, medial malleolus; 13 Oct 2010: EX fix; 12-15 Nov 2010 2 ORIF surgeries (5 plates) ; 15 Feb 2011 PWB; Apr-May 2011 FWB; May 2011 elbow surgery; June 2011: begin cycling again; December 2011: HWR
