I feel the same as you Trista. Its a long road ahead. Maybe I was more prepared what to expect cos I've known people who broke their legs and ankles and knees so I knew from the start its a long term thing. Doesn't make it less of a bummer tho just less of a surprise.

5/18/12: comminuted bimalleolar fracture, with dislocation
(closed reduction, surgery delayed due to swelling; NWB)
5/31/12: ORIF - 1 plate, 9 screws
6/8: NWB/boot
7/13: PWB/boot
7/31: FWB
8/12: crutch-free/boot
9/5: HWR 2 synd screws
