I was not offended - after all, I used the word gross, not you! I actually take a bit of pride from my ankle being a bit ugly - after all, it hurts sometimes, so it would be weird if it looked totally normal. One of my friends looked at my pictures and described my foot as "almost normal" and that really bothered me, because when I look at it what I see is very much NOT normal.
