Originally they told me to do it at night for 30 seconds at a time BUT the last few times I went they said to watch tv and just hold it for as long as I can. I try to do 10 minutes. Something that really helped was at PT they put a heating pad under my ankle and basically had me pull on it for about 20 minutes, stopping ever few minutes for a 20 second break. That really helped!

2/17 bimalleolar ankle fracture (fib/tib) not displaced
2/29 ORIF (2 plates and 7 screws) - soft cast for 2 weeks
3/15 removable boot NWB
4/12 WBAT - in boot
5/14 walking unaided
6/28 - Fibula plate removal
