Has anyone used vitamin e oil on their incision before the stitches were removed?
I am 7 days post HWR, everything is closed, but I still have stitches, it itches and feels extremely tight, to the point that it is limiting my ability to walk. I know oil or lotion will ease the tightness, but do not want to do it if there is any chance of complications or possible infection around the stitches. They won't come out for another week.
1/9/11 Disloc Bi-Mal L Ankle Frac.
1/26/11 Surg- Plate & 9 screws in Fib, 2 screws in Medial.
2/24/11 Cam Boot, NWB.
3/26/11 PT, cont NWB
4/21/11 FWB w/aircast as needed.
6/8/12 HWR- medial screws.
2/10/13 disloc brkn big toe,
2/18/13 stress f
