A stupid question-after reading your post about ankle pain, HWR and your wonderful ability to run and walk, I wonder if you had researched another method to deal with the pain. From what I know about pain (yes I have pain with every step) we hold pain as a memory in some cases and can't break the pain cycle. That is why pain over a long period of time is so bad, hard to break the pain cycle the longer it goes on.
So I was wondering if you had considered any unconventional methods like hypnotism or shots or something. What i know about fusion isn't much but I thought they shaved of the end of the bone, like my pending TKR. I'm not happy about the thought of losing more bone either or more HW!
