Emily, I truly understand (having had a bimal fracture) how frustrating this all can be. It's not a bad idea to always have pain checked out but, on a personal note, how long has it been since your bowels have been normal? If you haven't had a lot of fiber and water then it could be your intestines is just not eliminating properly and stomething is stuck to the lining. If that is what your pain is about, hopefully, a big bowl of "All Bran" cereal will fix that right away.
Also, lying around for a long time can make every muscle in your body hurt. You are using muscles you usually don't use to make amends for the BL. Pushing up with your arms makes the upper muscles sore and lying in odd positions to accomodate the leg will make the lower muscles hurt. It sucks canal water but that's just the way it is.
Do keep an eye on the UTI. I think your going to be fine. It sounds like you are being as active as you are allowed to be. I am proud of you for that.
Bi-Mal fx 2007-Never healed. New OS/Surgery 8/6/2012-Cancaneal Osteotomy 2 screws heel, HDL tendon transfer, Achilles Lengthening, Spring Ligament repair-HWR Tib/Fib-Large splint w/cooling pads. 8/14-8/24 2012 had 3 casts-8/28 air boot. 9-18-12: PWB.
