Re: Having a really bad day
Darran Moore    4:38pm May 29 2012

Couldn't agree more Melanie. The physiological pain is the most difficult to deal with and for others to understand.

It struck me when I arrived home from 1 week post op hospitalisation full of joy, I poured a cold drink and then grabbed my crutches only for it to dawn on me I couldn't carry the drink... That hit hard. It's difficult not to get low days. I keep myself motivated mentally by focusing on the big push to recover physically and get mobile again. I am targeting being back on my bike fit and stronger than ever, the thought of enjoying and concocting the hobby that put me in this situation is driving me on day to day!
