Hi, I've been reading messages on the forum and needed to post one today.
I fell on my vacation in Europe and ended up with a bimalleolar fracture. I had surgery on May 7, and from an ortho standpoint, healing as expected. I don't really go anywhere, but can get around easily in my brother's or boyfriend's apartments with my crutches, and can make it to the doctor's office on my own in a cab (I live in a city where driving is not essential).
After cutting back on the pain meds this weekend, I noticed pain in my right abdomen, right side, and sometimes right upper back, although I have stiffness all over my back. I had an issue with a urinary tract infection before my vacation, but I took antibiotics and the pain went away.
The nurse at the doctor's office made me an appointment for tomorrow, and said it sounds like a kidney stone.
I have never been ill or housebound in my life. I am so frustrated I could scream. I just needed to vent a bit. I hate this day.
