You certainly should tell your doc that you are experiencing this pain--it could be the early development of plantar fasciitis. Especially if it hurts when touching the inside of your heel or along the arch-–even forward of your heel all the way to the base of your toes. Is it worse first thing in the morning or after inactivity (inactivity-- sounds like you see little of this during the day) or aggravated standing on tip toe or climbing stairs.
I developed PF after I broke my foot.
