Don't worry about the amount of radiation you get with an xray every few weeks, its really not that much. If you were the technician, and doing an xray every 15 minutes all day long, day after day, then you'd need to be concerned. That's why they take precautions.
Actually, a certain amount of radiation has been proven beneficial.
Seriously, your Dr. wouldn't subject you to a dangerous level of radiation.
