peer pressure is there whatever your age....
I think everyone on here has done what you have at some stage. Mine was middle of the night trying to walk around the bedroom to get to the door and not wanting to ask for help, crutch got caught in the bed clothes and I stood on my bl instead of falling over. Like you it hurt initially, but was fine next day.
