 Re: Choosing a PT
ASR    8:43am May 7 2012

Can you go "take a look" at the Dr.s PT? You're already familiar with the facility and style of your former PT place. If you can tour the other one, and observe a PT session in progress, you might decide one will suit your needs better than the other.

My PT place was affiliated with my OS, and I know my PT and OS consulted weekly on my case. The facility was more limited in equipment than others in town (no pool, for example) but it had what I needed to recover, was convenient, and most importantly, my Therapist was AWESOME!

On 2 occasions, I had to have a substitute Therapist. I did not like her style as well, and did not feel I progressed as much those weeks, so I'm convinced that having the right therapist is more important than having more gym equipment.

Fully recovered from Pilon tib/fib
