Im going on 7 weeks WB and Im walking but not good. I still have a little limp. I cant help but wonder if maybe something during my surgery went wrong. My OS said that the sx went fine and there was no soft tissue damage. I hope my limp is just a result of muscle weakness and not walking correctly. Today at work and this lady walked by me and blurted out, Still hobbling I see. I just smiled and said yes. Deep down I know she meant nothing by it but Im a lil sensitive and worried about it. At what point should I worry? At what point should I get I see a pt again? Maybe this is normal and I shouldnt give it a thought but cant help it. When I see the OS again what questions should I ask concerning my limp?
1/20/12 fall - oblique displaced tibial shaft fx. comminuted fx. of proximal fibula.
1/21/12 ORIF IM rod of tibia NWB
2/6/12 stitches removed. boot, light wb of toes
