Good evening everyone!! hope you are all having a better day today? Just a thought to 11 days when i had my cast removed!! The os told me to stand..... using my crutches i tried...... but told him my broken leg was a few inches shorter because i couldn't get my foot on the floor....... hahaha i honestly believed in my head my leg had shrunk!!!!.... i was obviously leaning so much on my good leg!! i just couldn't get it to the floor!! i'm glad to report it hasn't and am now standing!! it does feel like a very slow process, but i can't believe how far i've come in such a short period of time, can't wait to see what i'm doing this time next week!!!

2/26 spiral fractured tib and fib, and chipped bones in the ankle NWB
2/27 ORIF (2 plates and 12 screws)
3/16 soft cast removed and 30+ stitches removed, hard cast put on
4/13 hard cast removed, leg brace fitted, fx lines hardly seen allowed to pwb!!
