Is it normal for the actual foot of your BL to be tender to the touch? I can touch it no problem, but if someone else applies even a little pressure or I knock it slightly it causes enough tenderness/soreness/pain for me to gasp. I have gone over a few times while walking outside on my crutches where the paths are so uneven (not right over, just over onto the side of my foot on my BL) and I have noticed that if I have sat resting for a long period of time when I stand up it is sore when I put it to the floor, however after a few steps it is ok again. It is also fine when I wake up in the morning. It has been like this for a couple of weeks, and I thought it was normal, but when my sister touched it yesterday and I gasped out she thought I should get it checked out (she had 2 broken legs about 30 years ago). I asked my pt when I last saw her about this and she said I only had to worry about searing/constant pain, not intermittent like mine. I next see the OS on 14 May and I have a routine gp appointment on 15 May, but should I get it checked out before this?
