I had a compound fracture of tibia & fibula while playing football (soccer) on 11th July 2010 (had my 4th month birthday yesterday, which incidentally was also my moms 67th birthday) & am at home since then with a simple nail inserted in my tibia bone, which does not have any screws.
A couple of days back, I had my digital x ray taken & I am very happy to share the news that my bone growth process is going on well (thanks to the almighty & all well wishers)

My OS did not put a plaster on me this time & has asked me to do basic knee exercises & meet him on coming monday, wherein he will now put a knee length plaster & hopefully in 2 weeks time I can move to the boot & start partial weight bearing.
