I had a fib/tib fracture as well. I was in the USMC and I was rapelling and fell about 50 feet. I broke my fib, tib, ankle, and foot. I had a metal rob put into my tib and removed more than a year later. I am now having severe problems with both knees and hips to the poit that walking is difficult. I pray that I won't have to have surgery again. For the 3rd time.
