I just had the same injury 1 month ago. Spiral fracture of the fibula and i tore most of the ligaments and tendons in the ankle from hockey. I have a plate and 10 screws inserted, one of which i have to have another surgery to remove in a few weeks. I was just wondering what the recovery time is, as I have had 2 very different opinions from doctors.
