Hi Tina, thanks for the response. I started bending my knee more frequently 2 1/2 weeks post op b/c of the uncertainty of surgery. I currently can bend my knee to about 45'-60'. it takes a lot of effort but common statement is, as you say as well, bend as much as you can.

PT doesnt want to see my frequently because i cant bend my knee much, and would rather work with me when i get to 90'.

my second surgery is not going to occur b/c i am already 3 weeks post op and a lot of healing has taken place. they essentially would have to re-do the entire work. the only thing i can hope for is that the fracture aligns itself to the tibia as much as possible. we'll see how i am in a few weeks, if i can even get up.

i wish you the best of luck, Tina, in your recovery. everyone that i've talked to that has broken their leg, always says, keep a positive mind and the body is more phenomenal than people think. just give it time.
