Hi, Lynda...I'm a little down. Went to see the doctor yesterday. Here I thought I was on my way to being 100% healed and found out I have an area on the back of tibia that has not shown any signs of healing at all. I'm just sick. He wants to do the bone graft but I've talked him into giving me three more weeks until after Christmas. That way I can wear the bone growth stimulator religiously for 10 hours a day. He also put me back in the fracture boot as I have broken a screw (which is no big deal). He just said that means the bone is not healed and I need to take some stress off of it by using the fracture boot when weight bearing.

My PT is over for a while until I can weight bear without the fracture boot. I just don't know if I should go ahead and get the bone graft done or wait and prolong my healing. I just don't think the three weeks is going to make any difference at this point. If it hasn't done anything at this point, I don't think it will. God must have other things in mind for me.

Hope you are doing well. Sounds like you had a great trip and are getting your life back to normal. Thanks for your encouragement.

Keep in touch!
Beverly
